E-mail Account Management

SiteWorx allows a webmaster to control all aspects of their incoming and outgoing e-mail. E-mail boxes, aliases and groups allow flexibility and secure versions of both POP3 and IMAP, including secure webmail, allow sensitive e-mails to be received with privacy and without exposing passwords during authentication. Per e-mail box storage stats and overall storage statistics ensure that all SiteWorx account storage is accounted for. The total e-mail management picture includes:

E-mail alias management (i.e. e-mail forwards)
E-mail box (i.e. POP3/IMAP/POP3s/IMAPs) management
E-mail group management (i.e. single email alias sends to multiple recipients)
SPAM filtering using SpamAssassin (configurable on a per e-mail account basis)
Secure webmail access for every domain via the IMP webmail client. End-users can change their e-mail passwords via webmail as well.

MySQL Database Management

SiteWorx's MySQL management system is top-notch, allowing fine grained database and user management, including per-database storage statistics, make setting up a MySQL database a breeze. Direct database table and data manipulation is made easy and secure with an SSL encrypted version of phpMyAdmin, the best browser-based MySQL administration tool. Other key features include:

Full permission management (SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT etc).
Full user management (give users from any host access to any of your MySQL databases).

Website Statistics

SiteWorx integrates an eclectic mix of statistics including real-time bandwidth and storage stats, log-based daily statistics and per account MySQL, e-mail and FTP account statistics. It currently utilizes a mix of the Webalizer and custom real time statistical graphs to provide webmasters with a clear view of their sites visitor patterns.

User Account Management

One of SiteWorx's key features is its fine-grained user management system. With this system a webmaster can sub-delegate portions of the SiteWorx control panel to other users. This is useful for webmasters who have a staff of people working on the same website. A webmaster can setup a sub-user to handle e-mail accounts, MySQL databases, FTP accounts or any combination of these services, among others.

File Management

SiteWorx employs the FileMan file management system from Gossamer Threads. FileMan is a *very* powerful and full featured file management system and packs in ton of additional features that make it as powerful as a shell account without some of the shell account downsides. Other key features of FileMan include:

Create new files using a WYSIWYG html editor (like FrontPage or Dreamweaver)
Edit existing files through the WYSIWYG editor or via a built-in text editor.
Upload one or multiple files and handles ASCII/binary transfers
Search for files based on file names, or full text searches
Multi file search and replace
Archive management - create, view, extract .tar files as well as .tar.gz files
Password protect directories and manage users for any/all protected directories.

FTP Account Management

Each SiteWorx account comes pre-stocked with a single FTP account that can be managed. Additionally, secondary FTP accounts are often useful for setting up portions of a website that only certain users have access to. While SiteWorx's user account management system allows fine-grained access to SiteWorx itself, SiteWorx's FTP account management system allows the same type of fine-grained control but on the actual website file space. A webmaster can setup a secondary (or tertiary) FTP account that only allows the FTP account holder access to a subsection of the website space.

Website, E-mail, MySQL Backup

SiteWorx has a built-in end-user backup system that allows webmasters to backup all of their important data. This includes not only website content but e-mail and MySQL databases as well.

Scheduled Tasks (CRON Interface)

Setting up scheduled tasks is easy via the SiteWorx CRON interface. The SiteWorx CRON interface was developed with the casual CRON user in mind with a simple yet powerful user interface.
